Shediac station is located in the Southern Gulf of St. Lawrence and made part of Atlantic Zonal Monitoring Program (AZMP). An oceanographic buoy measuring oceanographic, meteorologic and optical data is installed at this station during free ice season. The temperature measured at this site are used for calibrating satellite image of sea surface temperature. To visualize real time data data visit the OSL internet site.
